Next Steps After Your Application Is Approved
Overview
Congratulations on being approved to rent a home with Furlo Property Management! Here’s what happens next before your move-in date.
1. Complete the Welcome Course
Take our short, free online course: furlo.com/welcome.
It explains what we expect from each other, so you know exactly how things work here, at your own pace.
2. Sign Your Rental Agreement
After completing the course, we’ll send your rental agreement via DocuSign for digital signature. Review carefully and sign online.
3. Set Up Your DoorLoop Account
We’ll create your tenant account in DoorLoop. You’ll get an email with instructions to pay your deposit and first month’s rent.
Note: Funds take a couple of days to clear, but we can see the payment immediately.
4. Provide Proof of Renter’s Insurance
Upload your policy’s declaration page to DoorLoop or email it to us.
5. Transfer Utilities
Set up electricity, garbage, water/sewer, and gas service in your name for your move-in date. See How to Set Up Utilities for provider contact info by city.
6. Schedule Your Key Pickup
We’ll arrange a time for you to pick up keys so you can move in right away.
