Abandonment & Belongings Left Behind

Edited

Overview

When your lease ends, make sure to take all your things with you. Anything left behind is considered abandoned, and we have to handle it according to Oregon law.

Why It Matters

Leaving belongings behind slows down the move-out process and can create extra costs for removal or storage.

What to Do Before You Leave

  • Always give us proper written notice if you plan to move.

  • Take everything with you when you leave — no boxes, furniture, or bags of trash.

  • If items are left, we’ll process them under Oregon’s abandoned property rules.
