Ending Your Lease & Required Notice
Edited
Overview
If you’re renting month-to-month, you need to give at least 30 days’ written notice. If you’re on a fixed-term lease, you’ll need to give at least 30 days’ notice before the end date (unless your lease says otherwise). Local rules may add extra requirements.
Why It Matters
The right notice keeps you from being charged extra rent and helps us line up the next tenant without stress.
Steps for Ending Your Lease the Right Way
Send us a written note with your move-out date. A quick email is fine.
Keep paying rent and utilities through that date.
Do a thorough clean and follow the move-out checklist.
Return all keys, fobs, and remotes so rent stops on time.
